Water, water and more water. Seed your grass at least twice a year as the sparse areas provide an ideal location for weeds to set up shop. Work diligently on your grass before gardening beds are created as lawns are the framework surrounding your gardens. Without lush, thick, deep green grass your entire landscaping efforts are completely lost.
