Annuals - Calendula

Calendula is frequently called Pot Marigold and the botanical name is C. officinalis. These old garden plants are virtually trouble free and flourish throughout the summer months bringing cheer with their dazzling colors of orange and yellow.

Calendula will thrive in poor soil and can be planted in sun or partial shade. They will grow in extremely dry areas where few plants will tolerate the conditions however these remarkable blooms are hardy, withstand dry conditions, poor soil and extremely high temperatures.
