Shade Gardens
As stated earlier a small portion of the garden receives sun whereas the majority of the garden is shade. I researched various plants and created a list of rather unusual perennials for the area. My extensive research combined with visits to loads of nurseries finally yielded the results required. Here is a picture of the shade garden (only two months old) which includes the following plants:
Anemonopsis - a late summer which thrives in shade
Arum Italicum Pictum which thrives in sun to partial shade
Astilbe 'Lilliput' whcih thrives in partial shade
