Shrubs - Buxus Boxwood Green Velvet

The Boxwood Green Velvet (Buxus) is a wonderful shrub that requires minimal maintenance to grow and shape. This particular shrub is ideal for shade gardens as evident in the image below. The tight green foliage provides a beautiful texture for the shade garden and keeps the lovely leaves year round. Buxus is classified as an evergreen therefore it is a good idea to plant at least one to provide some greenery to your gardens during the winter months.
